Session #1

Session One introduces youth to the basics of advocacy and public policy. They learn what meaningful advocacy looks like, how government decisions are made, and how public issues move through the policy process. Youth leave with a clearer sense of the issues they care about and their role as civic actors.

Session #2

Session Two helps youth turn their ideas into concrete policy proposals. They learn the basic structure of legislation, write clear problem and solution statements, and draft simple bill language rooted in their lived experiences.

Session #3

Session Three is an optional strategy lab focused on action. Youth refine their proposals, identify key decision makers and allies, and plan how they may share their ideas through testimony, meetings, and public communication.
